Last December 13, 2014, Sanad Hospital held their first Quality Symposium entitled: “Welcoming Change Quality: Key To Doing Things Right, A Perfect Change.” The said event aimed to provide current knowledge and skills necessary in implementing quality management, and inspire leaders how to apply efficient and dynamic quality management. The symposium had 441 attendees from different hospitals and health care discipline. The course consisted of different quality related topics. National speakers were invited and completing the list of presenters were the Quality Director and the head of the Biomedical Department. Niazi Nehme: “Quality Control in Biomedical Department” Many of the attendees were motivated and inspired by the speakers which are reflected in the course evaluation. They even highlighted some parts of the symposium that they appreciated. “Eye-opener to vital information that was being ignored or taken for granted before” is just one of the positive aspects of the course that the participants mentioned. The symposium ended with a smile on everyone’s face and a guaranteed wisdom that will help them move forward to a better health care delivery.
